Payment for the weekly group Pilates classes are made by monthly direct debit payment through GoCardless at the beginning of the month. Helen typically teaches 38/39 lessons per year for each class, based around school terms (not including summer workshops).
There are times when you may miss a class - such as through illness, childcare and holidays. The payment plan is priced at the equivalent of approximately 32 drop in lessons per year to allow you to miss some classes without losing out. If at any point Helen needs to cancel a class this will count towards the free classes offered and there will be no refund.
Please do not ask for a discount if you go on holiday during term time. The number of lessons delivered each month varies but the price is spread evenly over 12 months. The year runs from September to July and your first payment is a month in advance starting at the beginning of August.
The monthly payment is £27. By joining this plan you have a guaranteed space for as long as you want it.
If you decide to leave part way through a term you will be liable for the remainder of the term. If you have already overpaid Helen will arrange for a refund. You are also welcome to make up for missed classes and it is recommended that you take the catch up class a week either side of the missed class so that you haven't missed out on a new exercise.
The monthly price includes a discount on a standard class price and gives you greater freedom and flexibility if you are going on holiday or are away for a period of time.
Payment for all group classes is taken by GoCardless. Online classes are paid for by BACS or GoCardless, and Individual sessions at time of booking with the receptionist at Northallerton Osteopaths (01609 783600).
If you would like to join a class, you can download a joining form below. Complete and return by email to Helen. She will then check it over and contact you to discuss any medical conditions or mobility requirements you may have. Payment is then set up to be taken monthly by GoCardless. Due to restrictions placed on us through COVID -19, you will need to bring your own mat and head cushion if you require it.
You don't need to buy any new clothing to come to class. Wear something comfortable, not too restrictive. For example a pair of leggings or tracksuit bottoms and a close fitting top is fine. Due to some of the exercises and positions you will be in (side lying for example) if you are wearing shorts to class, please wear close fitting underwear underneath for your own comfort ensuring no indiscretions. Socks are also recommended so that your feet move more easily along the floor.
There are typically a maximum of 10-12 people per class. This ensures that you are afforded individual attention and correction. Smaller groups are safer as you can be seen and Helen can provide a high quality class taking into account your needs.
If you choose to end your payment plan please give Helen 30 days notice in order for her to fill your place.
Classes cancelled within 12 hours of the session will be charged the full rate. Classes cancelled outside of this 24 hour window may be rebooked for another date.
